About

At my book signing last Saturday at the Huntington Park Library.

My name is Linda Chavez Doyle. I’m a retired librarian and novelist come lately. I comment about the novels I read, what I enjoy reading, and other mostly book-related topics that interest me. I am the author of My Doormat Days: A Novel the humorous, inspiring story of a young Latina who comes to terms with her lack of self-confidence and learns to be a more assertive person. My second novel, Silence, Please, is the story of political corruption in a small desert city, and how this scandal affects the lives of three women. My latest novel, White Mexican, is about a young woman who struggles with her racial identity. My books are available on Amazon in softcover and Kindle formats.
